The Charan Singh Archives is an independent and apolitical effort to collate and make freely available information to the public on the life and times of Charan Singh, the pre-eminent leader of the peasantry and the voice of the village in post-independence India.

Harsh Singh Lohit, the curator of this archive, is Charan Singh's grandson; the son of the latter's daughter Ved Wati and Dr. Jai Pal Singh. Harsh worked for 25 years in the information technology services industry till 2012, and has since been immersed in his ancestral calling as a small farmer in Faridabad, Haryana. An occasional photographer, he lives in Gurgaon.
